WhatThePub compiles a list of pubs from all over the London region and presents them in a simple tool which uses a clean map interface and allows the user to search for pubs by Location and Name, as well as allows the user to filter by different Tags.

WhatThePub has visited each pub and tagged them according to various fields.

Example Scenario 1

You have a dog with you and you want to find a dog friendly pub to visit, simply select the ‘Dog Friendly’ field and the map will update to show only pubs that are dog friendly. Furthermore, imagine you need a pub with parking, you can also select the ‘Parking’ field. Now the pub shows only those pubs that are both dog friendly and have parking.

Example Scenario 2

You are a student organising a pub crawl in London, however you don’t want it to break the bank. Select the ‘Pint < £5’ field to update the map to show only those pubs that offer a pint under £5. You want to make it a good night and stay out late. Also select the ‘Open Late’ field to update the map once again.

Example Scenario 3

The big football game is on and you want a good pub atmosphere to see the match with your mates. Select the ‘Sport/TV’ to show all pubs that are showing the game. Make sure it has a nice beer garden too by selecting the ‘Beer Garden’ field.

Example Scenario 4

You want to catch some live music, but also want to find a pub close to Liverpool Street Station. Put the location into the search bar and then filter by the ‘Live music’ field to show all the options available nearby.
